The National Association for County Community and Economic Development (NACCED), an affiliate of the National Association of Counties (NACo), recognized the Consider the Person Campaign with their Innovation Award during their annual conference on September 30, 2014. Project partners Tiffany Smith, of Howard County Housing, and Dan Pontious, from Opportunity Collaborative, represented the Campaign to receive the award.
NACCED , recognizes the many achievements of America’s counties through the Annual Awards of Excellence. The Innovation Award recognizes a project that may be small in nature but has achieved success in a particularly creative or cutting edge way.
In addition, the Anne Arundel Affordable Housing Coalition will be presenting an award to recognize the Consider the Person Campaign on December 19, 2014 at its annual luncheon.
